Newport Beach Temple.

Yesterday Nick and I drove out to the temple in Newport Beach. It was really nice to go somewhere quiet and to feel the spirit when we are constantly surrounded by noise and craziness. I loved spending some time with my hubby and relaxing in the cool breeze. Here are some pics.

Today is also our 3rd wedding anniversary! It's crazy that it's already been three years but at the same time it feels like we have known each other forever. I'm so grateful for Nick in my life and I love him very much. He has taught me so many things and he is my best friend. Here are a couple of pics from our wedding day!

San Louise Obeespo!

Ok, so it's really, San Luis Obispo. Nick has to say it with a spanish accent and say it, San Louise Obeespo! It's pretty funny to tease him. Anyway, we had the chance to drive up there for Nick's work for a day. Here are some pics we took by Pismo Beach.

There's a lot of them, but I can't get enough of that sunset!

Nick's Birthday!

Yesterday was Nick's 25th birthday! After church we just hung out and enjoyed spending time together. Later on we had friends over for ice cream cake. It's a tradition that we get him a cold stone cake. Mmm...those are yummy! Here's a few pics.

Hope you had an awesome birthday babe! I love you!

Marley and Me

So, I just barely watched Marley and Me last night, by myself. I wanted to see it in April but it was the day before we were taking Moss to Nick's family, for the whole summer. He wouldn't let me rent it because he knew how it ended. Well, I sobbed like a baby at the end. I have never cried so hard over a movie! I am glad that I didn't see it in the theater and that I watched it alone. Please, tell me that I'm not the only one who bawled like a baby!

Wii

I just wanted to make a short post from my Wii and see if it works! It takes way to long to type on this thing! I don't think I'll be doing this much.

The Best Hubby Ever!

Look at the beautiful custom blog background that my hubby made for me! He is so talented and I love him so much! This morning he also surprised me with Super Mario Bros 3 for our Wii! I have wanted all the old Super Nintendo Mario games since I was in high school. I forgot how bad I was at it and it takes me forever to pass a level, but it keeps me entertained for a long time and that was it's purpose. Between Super Mario and the 12 books I checked out from the library today, I should be entertained for a long time! :)

The 4th of July and family fun!

Last week was full of visitors! I love visitors! I took a lot of pictures! First our best friend, James came for a long weekend over the fourth. We went out to this mexican place for dinner one night and when we walked in the door there was this Elvis impersonator singing to the crowd. We had to walk thru his "stage" to take a seat. It was so embarrassing!
The next day we hit up the beach. We took a picnic lunch. This is Nick eating. :)
James laying out. Super white...
After telling him many times to put sunscreen on...super fried!
We needed to cool off so we headed to my favorite place. Yogurtland! It's awesome!
The next day was the fourth and we drove around Riverside, which was James' mission. We also hit up Transformers in IMAX at like midnight.
We sure look tired! It was a great movie though, and we didn't even miss the fireworks! We saw about 12 different shows from the freeway! :)

On Sunday, about 2 hours after James left, Nick's family pulled into town! We mostly hung out on Sunday and cooked dinner together. Monday morning Nick dropped me off at their hotel and I went with them to Disneyland. It was so much fun! I hadn't been there in such a long time so it was really neat to see all the things I loved as a little girl. On Tuesday Nick got to come with us for day 2 at Disneyland and California Adventure. Shy being Shy...:)

Waiting to get on Space Mountain for Nick's first time!

The Tower of Terror! If you look at my face you can see it really was terrifying! Apparantly I make some awesome faces on some of these rides. Most of us couldn't wait to look at my face after each ride.Kissy face.

Doug's bum after going on a water ride. Everyone laughed so hard after seeing this while leaving the ride! He doesn't know I took this picture! Love you Doug!
On the train ride around the park.

We were so dead tired by the end of day 2! You can see for yourself :)

Some pictures of the Light Parade at the end of the night.

The next morning we all headed to the beach! The kids had a ton of fun playing in the freezing water. After that we headed home to shower and they brought part of the beach home! My tub is still clogged! They even found little weird sand crabs in their suits! After a quick trip to Yogurtland they headed home. Thanks Doug, Jodi, Jacks, Shy and Kessler for taking time to come play with us! We sure enjoyed it! We love you guys!
